Our quality assurance (QA) team provides information, advice and support to staff at every level of the NFA.
The QA team ensures that we comply with current legislation and best practice, and that we learn from the latest research findings. They help the NFA maintain the highest performance standards and continuously improve every aspect of the services we provide.
We operate an effective quality management system, regularly reviewing, updating and improving our methods, policies and procedures.
Regular inspections are conducted to make sure we maintain the highest fostering standards. The QA team coordinates all inspections, liaising with Ofsted in England, CSSIW in Wales and Social Care & Social Work in Scotland.
We were rated ‘Outstanding’ in our most recent inspection.
We have precise procedures and detailed policies in place to deal appropriately with any complaints.
Upon receiving a complaint, the QA team will advise NFA staff and monitor the outcome. Where appropriate, the team responds to formal complaints and undertakes full investigations.
